Event Overview
The event showcases and sells new and used guitars, guitar-related equipment and accessories, drums, digital instruments, used records, and more, and is open to music lovers, instrument players, and anyone seeking a musical experience.
To further enhance the event, live performances and talk shows by well-known musicians will be held on a special stage inside the venue.
The event aims to promote exhibitors and increase sales, create new music fans and instrument players, and contribute to the revitalization and development of the music and instrument industries.
Contents
Exhibition & Sale of New and Used Guitars
From major domestic and international manufacturers to small workshops, there will be a wide range of guitars on display and for sale, along with guitar-related gear, accessories, and digital instruments.
Limited-edition models and vintage guitars will also be available.
Instrument and Music Experience
At the exhibition booths, visitors can try a wide range of instruments, including electric guitars and basses, acoustic guitars, and effect pedals, as well as experience the latest digital instruments.
In addition, demonstrations by musicians will be held.
Instrument Purchases and Trade-ins
Some exhibitors will offer purchase and trade-in services for guitars, basses, and other instruments.
Instrument Maintenance
A guitar maintenance counter will be set up inside the venue.
Visitors can receive simple maintenance services from professional repair technicians.
Used Record Fair & Book Sales
A wide variety of used records will be sold, from nostalgic classics to rare titles across many genres.
Music-related books, including back issues, will also be available.
Special Live Performances
On a special stage inside the venue, there will be free acoustic live performances and talk shows by well-known musicians.
Special collaboration stages that can only be seen at this event are also planned.
Performers will be announced on the official YOKOHAMA MUSIC STYLE website and social media.

Exhibitor Fees & Applications
※L booths and M booths: You may apply for up to 4 units per exhibitor. S booths: Limited to 1 unit per exhibitor.
If you apply for multiple booth sizes, please note that due to layout restrictions, they may not be placed side by side.
※S booths are generally intended for applications from individual creators. If you do not fall into this category, please contact us for consultation.
※Each booth includes 1 long table (W 1,500 × D 600 × H 700 mm) and 2 chairs.
※Only the floor space is provided. Booth decoration must be arranged and installed by each exhibitor.
※Additional charges will apply for rental equipment.
※Exhibitors may use their own payment systems at their booths.
※If you do not use your own payment system and instead use the general cashier counters set up at the venue, a sales commission of 15% will be charged.
Settlement will be made after the event ends.

Please note:
If the number of applications reaches the limit, we may close applications even before the official deadline.
Regular exhibitor application deadline: Friday, January 16, 2026
Payment deadline: Monday, February 16, 2026
Payment of Exhibitor Fees
For both early-bird and regular applications, invoices will be sent after each application deadline.
Your exhibition slot will be confirmed once payment has been received.
Important Notes
・If you apply during the early-bird period but do not complete payment by the deadline, we may charge the regular fee or cancel your application.
・Applications made on or after Saturday, November 1, 2025 will be charged at the regular fee.
Consignment Exhibits & Sales
We accept consignment exhibit and sales of instruments and effect pedals from individual sellers.
・Due to limited space, consignment acceptance may end once the capacity is reached.
・Shipping costs for consigned items must be covered by the seller.
・If you wish to consign items, please contact us using the inquiry form at the bottom of this page.
If you would like to continue consignment sales at our stores “KAMINARI YOKOHAMA” or “KAMINARI GUITARS LAB” after the event, please consult with us.
・Sales commission: 20% per item
・Maximum number of items per seller: 10
Payments
For payments at the venue:
Exhibitors may use their own payment terminals and cash registers at their booths.
If you bring a payment terminal, please note that Wi-Fi at the venue may be unstable.
We recommend bringing your own pocket Wi-Fi or similar device.
If you do not bring your own payment terminal or register and wish to use the venue’s system, you can use the general cashier counters.

For transactions processed through the general cashier:
All sales will be totaled after the event.
A sales commission of 15% will be deducted from the total.
The remaining amount will be transferred to your designated bank account.
Please understand that we cannot accept responsibility for payment-related issues (such as fraudulent card use) or for refunds requested after the event has ended.
In-Booth Events
To help visitors learn more about your products, exhibitors may hold demonstrations and other events within their own booths, including amplifier use and sound output. We ask for your cooperation in ensuring visitor safety.

■Rules for In-Booth Events
To reduce interference with nearby booths, advance application is required.

Events cannot be held without prior approval.
Each event may last up to 30 minutes, maximum 1 session per day (up to 2 sessions in total over 2 days).

You cannot choose your own start time.

Times will be arranged by the organizing office and shared individually (planned for early February).
Volume limits will be strictly enforced:

Maximum volume: 70 dB
The aisle in front of booths is a shared space.

Please keep visitor traffic clear and guide audiences inside your own booth area.
If the organizing office judges an activity to be dangerous or inappropriate, you may be asked to stop your in-booth event.

■Notes on Loading/Unloading
Loading/unloading is possible from the far end of the venue’s parking lot or from the main entrance of the hall.

Vehicles taller than 3.5 m cannot enter the parking lot.
There is no separate staff entrance.

If the venue parking lot is full, please wait for an open space or use a nearby parking facility.
Large vehicles that do not fit entirely into a parking space (up to 4-ton trucks) may enter the parking lot area but cannot be parked there.

For loading/unloading, please temporarily stop in the zebra zone at the far end. Move the vehicle immediately after loading/unloading is finished.
The venue parking lot is paid.

Other Rules & Notices
Prohibited Actions & General Rules
Exhibitors may not sublease, sell, transfer, or exchange all or part of their booth space to other exhibitors or third parties.
Sales activities such as flyer distribution, survey collection, and calling out to visitors are prohibited outside your own booth, including entrances and aisles. Even within your own booth, loud calling out, clapping, or similar behavior that disturbs surrounding exhibitors is not allowed.
Exhibitors should remain at their booths during opening hours. Do not begin packing, boxing, or moving items out before closing time on the final day.
The use of fire or bringing hazardous materials into the venue is strictly prohibited.
Security
To ensure visitor safety and strengthen security, security staff will be stationed inside the venue.
Shipping of Goods
A shipping service counter is planned at the venue for exhibitors who need to ship products after sales are completed.
Booth Allocation
After the application deadline, the organizing office will allocate booths while considering the overall exhibition layout. The final booth map will be sent to the email address given in your application, around late February.
